Cysts are extremely common occurrences on the body, but are the cause of self-consciousness, embarrassment or even discomfort for many men and women of all ages. They can, however, be removed quickly and simply on an outpatient basis by Board Certified Dermatologist, Babar K. Rao, MD, FAAD. The simply procedure will be performed in his Manhattan, New York or Fresno, California office.

A cyst is a sac filled with gas, liquid, or a jelly-like material that develops on the skin of the face, scalp, neck, or trunk. The cyst may remain small for years or slowly grow larger. Although such cysts are not dangerous, it may eventually need to be removed (excised) by your dermatologist.
