A cyst is a sac filled with gas, liquid, or a jelly-like material that develops on the skin of the face, scalp, neck, or trunk. The cyst may remain small for years or slowly grow larger. Although such cysts are not dangerous, it may eventually need to be removed (excised) by your dermatologist.
If you are not sure if you have a cyst, feel free to make a complimentary consultation with Board Certified Dermatologist, Babar K. Rao, MD, FAAD. _____________________________________
