This page offers a general overview of cosmetic procedures. All
procedures are performed by Board Certified Dermatologist, Babar K. Rao. For

Using the most modern and state-of-the-art medical equipment, treatments,
and technologies, The Skin and Cancer Center is able provide a variety of
cosmetic procedures including

All of the listed non-surgical procedures on the right are performed on
site within our facilities.
Our non-surgical cosmetic procedures can be performed quickly and easily
with little to no down-town in our Manhattan, New York or Fresno, California
offices.
Our staff will be pleased to assist you in any way possible and all
efforts will be made to accommodate your schedule.

Acne Management
If acne is having negative emotional or social impact
on your life, it is time to take control and seek effective treatment. On the
basis of examination and diagnoses, Board Certified Dermatologist, Babar K. Rao,
MD, FAAD, will prescribe the treatment most effective for your individual case.
Anti-Aging Treatments
To maintain and improve skin health, an effective
skincare regime must contain three fundamental elements -- prevention,
protection, and correction. The Skin and Cancer Center will analyze and
prescribe an effective tailored regime for you.
Botox

is a 10-minute in-office
procedure with no downtime and patients can return to work immediately
after the injection.
Chemical Peels
A chemical
peel uses a chemical solution to improve and smooth the texture of the facial
skin by removing its damaged outer layers. It is helpful for those individuals
with facial blemishes, wrinkles and uneven skin pigmentation. Board Certified
Dermatologist, Babar K. Rao, has extensive experience with chemical peels and
you will be certain to love your chemical peel outcome.
Micro-Dermabrasion
Micro-Dermabrasion is effective in reducing fine lines, "crow's feet," age
spots and acne scars. It stimulates the production of skin cells and collagen.
It has proven to be a very popular nonsurgical cosmetic procedure.
Facial Fillers
Facial fillers are used to lessen the appearance of lines, wrinkles
and scars. Facial fillers include

Hair Removal
To permanently remove hair, the laser targets the pigment within

Skin Resurfacing
Skin resurfacing removes areas of damaged or
wrinkled skin often caused by prolonged sun exposure. Skin resurfacing can
minimize the appearance of fine lines around the mouth and the eyes and is also
effective in treating facial scars and skin areas with uneven pigmentation.
